| Walnut "Pecan" pie |
At Thanksgiving, my sister Kate made this fantastic pecan pie using a recipe from Pioneer Woman.
We cheated and used store bought crust. Nonetheless it was super yummy.
One of the guests at Thanksgiving teased us about having to make her one
..so we did..
While we were getting pecan for this special pie, I got this bright idea that walnuts might taste good.
Kate was game.
...so we tried it...
That right there has got to be one of the best nut pies I've ever eaten.
