This evening festivities were canceled due to weather so we watched a documentary at church instead. Sounds boring right? Actually it was great. The movies is called Divided. It was done by the LeClerc Brothers. It seeks to answer the question "Why do so many young people leave the church?".
They delve into church history and the Word to find the answers. Philip LeClerc interviews a variety of people spanning from Paul Washer and Voddie Baucham to Jeanne Mayo as well as numerous youth searching for answers. His conclusion is that we have wondered away from the Biblical pattern undermining the authority of the father and giving them an "out". It is a must see no matter where you might originally stand on the issue.
