Some folk use the busy times as an excuse for themselves, as they fear a deeper relationship or commitment to a relationship (with a fellow being or with God) or married life (at the same time there's no harm to growing in such friendship with others). For others, people fear rejection or failure, either from personal experience or the experience of others. The lies of human insecurities can be deeply troublesome. Others want to 'buy' time, as they feel the need to root themselves more deeper with the LORD in Christian service, or simply by knowing Him better.

As long as you are 'busy' with Godly intentions, for He knows the heart of men. To God, we are like transparent glass bottles - He can see right through us, there is no hiding of anything. You'll be surprised by how much you can grow in the LORD as you seek your identity in Christ. Sometimes it's THAT time that we all need - simply to be in His presence - to be still and know that He is LORD, and it's been encouraging to read how the Holy Spirit has provoked you to see that. It sounds that God has revealed wisdom to you to acknowledge this longing to know Him deeper each and everyday.

And just remember, the LORD God can also use single Christians to encourage other brothers and sisters in Christ in their walk in faith (whatever the marital status may be). Living life without a spouse doesn't mean life is empty, meaningless or frustrating. :o)

In Christ,
RichardRichardhttp://www.indescribablelove.comnoreply@blogger.com
